My favorite poem at the moment is a song, "Gorgeous" by Kanye West. Although he is coined one of the best artists of our generation, I never really got into West's discography because of personal disagreements with some statement's he's made. However, I have always believed that he is a free thinker and someone who's unrestrained by society. When I randomly found this song and looked into its lyrics, I was reminded of this once again. "Get caught with 30 rocks, the cop look like Alec Baldwin," "Face it, Jerome get more time than Brandon" Kanye uses his platform to address discrepancies in the US prison system, and the lyricism is just...
